History

ABOUT US

FOOTBALLAB was founded 20 years ago in Turin from an idea by Rita Guarino, former professional football player and coach (Juventus Women, Italy Women Under-17 National Team and Inter Women).
The project was born from the meeting of passion, sharing, ethics and professionalism, with the aim of supporting children and young players in their sporting growth journey.

The collaboration with Michele Salafrica, former professional football player and graduate in Massophysiotherapy, began while he was playing in Piemonte.

A strong connection immediately developed between the two, based on common goals: helping young athletes grow in a healthy environment free from excessive competition, giving them the opportunity to learn with confidence and serenity both on and off the field.

Eleven years ago Michele Salafrica opened a FOOTBALLAB center in Cesena, which he currently manages together with his staff of 9 instructors and the club secretary.

METHOD

Our Method

MULTILEVEL

The MULTILEVEL method consists of the progressive teaching of technique, coordination and tactics through attention to detail, observation, correction and improvement of technical skills. Lessons are offered individually, in pairs or in small groups of up to 4 players per instructor.

Training Paths for Younger Children

For children aged 4 to 6 years old, we organize mini-groups (maximum 4 children) where we develop all basic motor skills through games with footballs and FOOTBALLAB equipment.

From Beginner to Professional

Thanks to the MULTILEVEL methodology, we can create customized training paths suitable for every type of player, from beginners to professional athletes.

Instructor Training

We strongly believe in the continuous education of our staff.
We invest time and energy to ensure every instructor is fully prepared to provide players with the tools and confidence they need both on and off the field.

Free Trial

Through our FREE TRIAL session, we create a detailed assessment of each player's skills in order to design personalized training programs tailored to every need.
